Never to be forgotten, the dog that saved my life by simply being there for me. 

I walked into a pet shop one day in August 1996, I had never owned a dog before and there you were in a crate, the last one left and I could not leave you there. I am so glad I walked in that day, I came home with one of the greatest friends I would ever know. You came into my life when I truly needed a friend and you made the loneliness go away.

I have never known a friendship like yours, you were by my side when I was happy, you stood by me when I cried and you were with me on my wedding day. You even made Chris like dogs!!! a feat that only you could achieve. Everyone loved you, you were always smiling, always happy and always wanting a cuddle, even on the day we had to give you rest.

You were my saving angel that day in the pet shop and now you are gone, you are my angel looking over me. You came when I needed you and left me when you knew I could cope.

I have so many happy memories of you, you will always live on in my heart.
